Growth Groups
River Presbyterian Church’s Growth Groups are smaller groups of people committed to helping one another know Jesus and to know his purpose for our lives. Through honest and caring relationships, each Growth Group seeks to help each other grow by reading the Bible together, praying, and spending time with one another. A typical Growth Group will have 8-12 adults from a diversity of ages and stages of life.
We have Growth Groups meeting across the greater Grand Rapids area:
Grand Rapids North (Thursday evening)
Grand Rapids East (Friday evening)
Hudsonville (Friday evening)
Kentwood (Thursday evening)
Walker (Friday evening)
Wyoming (Friday evening)
SUNDAY SCHOOL
River Presbyterian’s Sunday School aims to help participants know who Jesus is and what it means to follow him. We offer three classes for children (3-13 years old) that help kids understand the big story that God is telling in the Bible—a story that points to Jesus. A joint class for adults/teens is geared at teaching the basic beliefs and practices of a follower of Jesus. Classes take place on Sunday mornings from 10:00-10:45 AM (September through May).
